Bakuriani ski lifts and slopes
Bakuriani's main lifts are run by the Mountain Trails Agency (MTA) in three zones: Didveli, Kokhta and Mitarbi. Two more ski areas, Crystal and the 25 Ski Park, are privately operated.
The zones
Didveli has a gondola, chairlifts and a platter lift, and its highest lift reaches 2,702 m above sea level.
Kokhta is on Mount Kokhta, where the skiable terrain reaches 2,269 m. For the 2025–2026 season it was the first zone to open, on 20 December.
Mitarbi is the third MTA zone. For 2025–2026 its lifts were announced to open in phases from 27 December, together with Didveli.
Crystal is a privately operated ski area with its own chairlift and its own tickets, and the 25 Ski Park is likewise privately operated. Check what your ticket covers before you buy.
Season and opening dates
The ski season usually runs from December to March, depending on snow, and snowmaking is used at Didveli and Mitarbi. For 2025–2026 the MTA opened the Kokhta lifts on 20 December and announced phased openings at Didveli and Mitarbi from 27 December. The operator announces the dates of each coming season, and conditions change daily with snow and wind.
For current opening announcements, start from the website of the Mountain Trails Agency, mta.ski. Ticket prices and ski-pass rules change every season, so we do not list them here.
Ski pass
Travel guides report that one MTA ski pass works in all three MTA zones, so you can ski Didveli one day and Kokhta the next without buying again. Crystal and the 25 Ski Park sell their own tickets. Rules and prices change, so confirm with the operator.
Beginners and children
25-ianebi suits beginners and children especially well: travel guides describe the privately operated 25 Ski Park there as a short beginners' slope surrounded by ski-rental shops, instructors and children's rides. Sports schools and equipment rental are listed under entertainment.
Where to stay near the lifts
Didveli / Crystal is close to the slopes, with cable car views; Kokhta / Mitarbi is a premium area with new cable cars; the centre has the restaurants and the park. Browse apartments and cottages or hotels by area.
